Top 10 Kids Toys for Christmas 2013

A few weeks back I had the delightful opportunity to skip outside after dark and go and visit my favourite Sydney toy shop, Flying Penguin, for a glass of bubbles and a chance to preview their Top 10 toys for Christmas. Based in Newtown, Flying Penguin stock an awesome array of toys for kids, a nice contrast from the slathered primary coloured plastic you see in other overwhelming toy shops. I’ve been shopping there since shortly after my son (now 3.5) was born and I marvel at the creativity each toy inspires. A treat for me as well, and I’ve confessed on more than one occasion that they are on my must-visit list whenever I have a few sneaky me-time hours.

I’ve asked Vicki if she would kindly allow me to publish the line up, and she’s done even better and written a review on each. Enjoy!

Pretty good line up huh!

My favs are the Scratch Paper and the Submarine, which you can actually open up to clean when the bath water has been sitting.  Dino Brockie is pretty rad too.
